Interior Design – My Process

  • Get to know my client. It is important I learn about your history, family type, interests, hobbies, profession, passions, and interior design ideas. In order to feel like home, it must be “you”. I especially like to bring your history and culture into my design concept.
  • Begin a plan to make your interior spaces beautiful, symmetrical, and functional by developing layout and choosing furniture, decorative items, fabrics, colors, and lighting.
  • Use artistic sense of style to develop designs that look great and are aesthetically pleasing. Make a collection of what you already own so we can work with it.
  • Communicate constructively with clients, designers, engineers, and building contractors on ongoing projects.
  • Problem solve and address challenges, such as, budget, change of selected materials, and time allowances.
  • Develop a stronger visualization sense of proportion to create the perfect interior environment.
  • Practice the measuring of spaces and make drawings, so that furniture and furnishings will fit correctly and create the appropriate environment.
